here, yet there doesn't seem to be an answer.
I need to install HTC Sync on my computer so that i can install the latest
ROM update from T-Mobile.
I get the following error when trying to install the
version 2.0.4 of the software. I get a dialog that saids something like configuring the HTC Driver and then;
'Error 1722. There is a problem with his Windows Installer package. A program run as part of rht esetup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or a package vendor. Action CA_DriversInstall, location: ...\MSIB9.tmp, command...'
I think its mainly due to the fact that i'm runnning Windows XP 64bit SP3. I have tried the usual stuff, including running the installer in compatability mode. But to no joy.
Please note that i understand there i a resolution to syncing on 64bit machines but i can't even install the program.
Can anyone please give me some ideas about getting this working? I'm open to try anything. Thanks in advance.
