Sounds like the player just has good taste in music and refuses to play it. Just kidding!!!
Copy it to your windows machine and play it there. If it works fine, then, yeah, send a note to the devs about it. VLC (
VideoLAN - VLC: Free streaming and multimedia solutions for all OS!) will play it if you don't have a player that will on your PC.
