if you kept your old phone, you could skip insurance all together. unless your really that clumsy you can just switch back to your old for your remaining months, considering you will upgrade every year. you could always just insure it for the first couple of months while its new and then drop it. then the next year sell your 2 year old back up to sprint and get the 50 rebate.
