I have the same problem as @tonyguinta. Why is the calendar for the Vibrant so much different then other "Android" calendars? Does anyone know of a calendar app that works well?
- The default notification is a short soft bubbly noise which is impossible to hear from my pocket and cannot be changed! I can't remember the last time I had a phone that didn't allow me to change a notification tone.
- No option to have the phone vibrate upon calendar notification.
- The default calendar doesn't sync with gmail so I have to change the calendar to my gmail calendar every time I add a new event.
- The default setting is "no reminder" and it cannot be changed so I have to add a reminder every time I add a new event.
This phone has a great screen but the calendar functionality is extremely annoying.
PS - The Vibrant also doesn't sync my google contact groups...including the "My Contacts" group...this means that I can either sync everyone who ever sent me an email, or nobody!
