If you live in a smaller town (like I do) and the nearest Best Buy is approximately 6 hours away, and you can't wait/don't want to deal with an online transaction (which makes porting your existing number from another carrier that much more of a P.I.T.A.)... then yes, there is a reason to shop at the Sprint store. :-)
