See the thing is that you tell by the way it is rubbing that sooner or later it is going to break through the film and start to ball up and/or wreak havoc with the sliding action. SO then my problem is I dont want to remove it because I like the way it feels now and I am afraid it will feel 'loose' if I remove it. At the same time I want to remove it before it causes problems.
I have been googleing all night reading about it and over at HowardForums and the DroidForums and the MotoForums as well as a few Verizon conversations and the concencus form Motorola and Verizon seems to be that the film is intended to be removed. Most people have said the it slides much smoother and locks into position better after removing it ,but about every 6th person that removes it says they wished they hadn't....
