I just wish there was a way to make the only way to unlock your phone be with the screen slide operation. Since few things will interact with a capacitive touch screen besides your finger, it makes almost impossible to "butt" dial someone. Simply pressing a button twice is way way to simple.

Couldn't agree with you more, and like I said, personally, I have never had it be an issue...yet.

My point was, that this isn't a "bug" but was done by design, so HTC most likely wouldn't put it on a list of things to "fix" since, technically, it isn't broken.

Things such as the memory leak from BT, or the Dialer lock-up were identified as "bugs" that required attention. Unless they get enough people screaming bloody hell that this is a serious design flaw, it most likely won't be changed because they don't see it as an area that needs repair.

I wasn't discounting your annoyance or problems with it, so I hope it didn't come off that way, I was just trying to point out that something like that wouldn't be fixed in a patch, because as far as they know, nothing is broken.
