Went to the maps app, yeah, not maps.google.com.
Went to a red dot on the route that I knew had street view, and tapped it (or you can go to the List of directions and tap one).
That brings up the balloon with the direction, mine says "Continue on S. Olds Blvd".
Long-press the balloon. That was the one I had a hard time figuring out. That brings you into street view.
I'm hoping/assuming this will all happen automatically when navigating, I have seen street view come up while navigating, but haven't been a passenger enough in the past week or two to test heavily
