My omnia went into a pool (in my shorts pocket) about a month after I first got it. Second I was out of the pool I pulled it as much apart as I could (sd card, sim card, battery etc) and when I got home it sat on the window sill for nearly 2 weeks; I didn't touch it. Put it back together and she worked fine. I wouldn't be in a rush to test it out. Give it plenty of time.
