Two words: Lossless Audio. The stock music player doesn't read wav files (other music players do, though), but you can encode your CDs using (your and my favorite love/hate company) Apple's lossless AAC format. With the audio processor on this phone and a good set of headphones: WIN!

EDIT: Never mind about completely uncompressed audio. Apparently that's not going to work very well, but you can at least encode at super-high bit rates.
