same experience with Evo. same web browser speed on 3G (no sprint 4G like almost everywhere). Mine was actually a tad faster for whatever reason. EVO not pocket friendly at all (I'm a man but would have to get into man bags to carry one lol). with both running 2.1 and HTC sense the experience was exactly the same and that was BEFORE I rooted. this wasnt a 15 minute once over either. I played with it almost daily for hours at work (co worker has one). I wish I had the camera flash and the kickstand but honestly my eris and canon SD780is pocket camera combined are smaller and more pocket friendly than the EVO and it runs circles around any phone for pictures and shoots good quality HD video. I understand liking big screens but at some point it henders mobility and even makes them less attractive. If they put the EVO package in the size of the Eris I'd be sold (even though from my experience if they did that it would just be an Eris with flash and kickstand and better paper specs at least on andriod 2.1).
