I want to have it save the new password so I don't have to retype it all the time. I guess under settings I could have it clear all passwords, but that would do just that. Clear all passwords, like throwing the baby out with the bathwater or hunting a mosquito with a cannon. Every place a password as remembered for me I would have to enter it again.

Is there a way I can have it just remember a new YAHOO password, but still remember all my other passwords?
Go to Menu-settings-applications, and find your Yahoo Mail app. Click on it, then clear all data and cache.
This way you start from scratch only on your YAhoo mail app.
