2) Bruceo, you have still failed to answer my question. Even though others are experiencing DIFFERENT outcomes with the same file load on their SD card, there is CLEARLY something going on with your SPECIFIC DROID that is skewing the results. That being said, you haven't answered my question:

So, you've tried different class SD cards on your DROID and even touted the capabilities of the iPhone, being the tech-geek that you so profusely claim, can you tell me the difference between the iPhone/iPod's ability and speed to access its onboard NAND flash memory compared to the DROIDs ability and speed to access its SD card memory and how that can affect file retrieval rate?

Or, do you think that's irrelevant and believe it's completely fair to compare apples to oranges?

Yeah I had to return the first lemon because it has at least 3 or 4 random reboots a day even after a hard reset, which is apparently not uncommon with the Droid. This one hasonly spontaneously rebooted twice in 2 weeks.

I dont need to get into a discussion about nand vs sd memory. Droid id supposed to be faster and it certainly is not. Then they should have used 16 or 32 gb of nand and put a sd slot in for expansion the it would have done instead od doesnt. Also, why put an sd card slot in that you cant remove without removing the battery thats also dumb....
