I have found plenty of ways to "Convert to MP3" so that my non-supported devices can play audible content, but it is just not worth it as most techniques require you to play the duration of the audiobook while it records. Since most books can be over 30 hours, that is a long time of not being able to use your computer. Other ways such as burning and ripping CDs have file naming issues. I would just like Audible to come out with this new app sooner than later so that there is no more hassle to listening to a book. I work in the cell phone industry and more people are buying Android phones than any other. Anyways, I think anyone who reads this should send out an email to Audible asking for the app and ETA so that it shows them how many of us are out there. Hopefully they can get it out by new year and not mid-2010.

(I also asked in my message if the app will support the new high quality audio format. It is worth mentioning so that they do not try to flake out and release a crappy quality app to satisfy the public faster rather than take the time to make a good quality app)

Edit:

I understand that you are inquiring about the compability of the Android operating system. Unfortunately, this platform is currently not Audible ready. We are hoping to add support to these phones in the future, but we do not have an estimated time of when would this be.
