Took a kick at the can and sent HTC this email.

Dear HTC Support,

I'm writing in regards to how one of your distributors (Rogers Wireless) is treating it's customers in Canada. Even though your company has provided an Android 1.6 update for the HTC Dream and HTC Magic, Rogers has not come forth to announce any availability of an upgrade for it's customers. Even worse, some people have even been told that it's OK to use the updates from your site to flash onto our hardware.

Even after multiple contacts with Rogers Wireless they refuse to comment on when/if they are going to provide the upgrade. Unfortunately more often than not the HTC name is being drawn into the discussions on lack of support that we are receiving for our devices.
