I had the same experience. I switched off my phone used a towel to dry all the visible water then i put it in a bag of rice for two days. After that it worked fine. Do not use a hairdryer to dry the water as this might melt in inner components. Do not switch your phone on until the two days are over, because if there is water that still resides in the phone while it is on, the water mess with the electricity and can short circut your phone
