Lol I highly doubt Verizon made a deal with Google that would prevent them from getting the Iphone. Verizon knows Google's most likely not going to pay anywhere near the amount they could potentially make with the Iphone on their network. Not only would existing Iphone users buy it, but new customers would be immediately drawn to a partnership between the perceived "best phone" and the "best network". That's not to say Android on VZN would die out, I mean honestly the Iphone is not worth a full price upgrade, so I'm guessing a majority of Android users out there are going to be sticking with their device. I wouldn't be surprised if Verizon made partnerships with Google phones and Apple Iphones, the profit from having both on their network would probably be a monopoly lol.

Edit: How ever I would not leave Android. I feel Google will be on top of the smartphone world, and their Chrome OS will be popular in the pc market. Their the innovators right now Windows and Mac have lost their touch and need to get back to where they use to be, has Google is looking like it's going to take the top spot in the future.
