i don't want to sound cocky or a know but i have said it before and i'll say it again. my parents both worked for verizon for a long time before they sold their shares in hawaii...now only verizon wireless is available in hawaii...on that point I have talked to the CEO and Director of Sales for Verizon every year that they come to vegas in november for a regional sales meeting...both my dad and these executives have told me 2 things...1. Verizon wasn't and isn't willing to give up 80% of the profit shares to Apple just for the iPhone...that's the reason why Verizon didn't have the iPhone to begin with...they weren't willing to bend over backwards and allow Apple to run amok taking all the money...2. Verizon is the ONLY and i mean ONLY Carrier that drops over $1Billion back into its networking every other month. Although AT&T has more users they don't have the money to have the type of extensive and quick networking as VERIZON because they literally owe Apple money every month just for having the iPHONE...the hardware that AT&T is using is so old and obsolete that's why their coverage sucks balls...any techy guy will tell you that...
with that said I do know that APPLE's contract is almost up with AT&T. now would verizon scoring the iPHONE be good...probably...but is it worth it in the end not only for the company but also for its users? I highly doubt it...look at it this way apple regardless of what service provider you have will still charge you $.99 for every song, application, movie, etc that you download...do you have $10,000 to spend a year on things like that...HELL NO...end of rant...
