First: use the zoom trick (hold down on an empty area of the LOADED flash object, a black bar should appear with a fullscreen option on the left). This will clear out everything else on the screen, leaving just the flash object, which can improve performance.
Second: Use a custom ROM to overclock, it might get you just a bit more speed.
Third: make sure you have as few services running in the background as possible (like IM clients, downloads, etc).
