If they said it would reduce a terrorist attack down to 0% on an airplane, I'd be all for it. (the scans, not the sexual abuse) But they don't even prevent a damn thing.

And they don't even let people walk away, if you refuse the scan they make a huge production out of it, escort you out like your the unibomber(8 hours later), and threaten you with arrest. Yeah, that seems like some great choices there.  |
This is my point exactly. They don't prevent anything at all. They've stopped screening 12 year olds now. You know what I do if I'm a terrorist? I hand my bomb making materials to a 12 yr old kid, then I let them screen me to their hearts content. Once we're past security, I get the bomb stuff back from the kid. That's not a security hole. Or I swallow the bomb making stuff ahead of time, get flights with a long layover and pass the stuff in the airport bathroom. No problem there.
