All I did was to enable data transfer, not media. Both SD cards appear as distinct drive in My Computer. I told MM to synch to my external SD card et voilą. The only other parameters I set are synching preferences, such as sound levelling.
I'll say that it does not compare to the speed of an iPod with iTunes, but it gets the job done.
only problem is that if you use just mass data mode, mediamonkey will throw an m3u playlist on the sd. If you use the media mode, it will put a PLA playlist which is readable by the samsung music player
. If you use a 3rd party music player like winamp, you can just do the normal mass media mode as most 3rd party music apps recognize m3u. I think windows media player will make a PLA playlist also if the device is in media mode.
