pastafarian: 1. They could have included the option for a notebook that resides on the SD card, and which doesn't update unless you ask it to update with a corresponding notebook online.
2. iPhone users can see local note using the "favourites" function they decided not to give us.
I hae been using Evernote for about 2 years now, but I don't sync _any_ of my notes online, I like to keep them on my PC. I wanted to be able to use Evernot on my Android phone to be able to sync notes to the desktop app via my online account, but not being able to see them on my phone makes it close to useless.
