I had the exact problem. If I put in a calendar event in my EVO it would update outlook but not in reverse. I followed Brenny's suggestion on this forum and it has worked so far.
One thing I did notice was that I had accepted a calendar event that was recurring but only for a period of time. It was shortly after that where I began having the problem. Now that I have reset my calendar I've notice that all my calendar events seem to have sync'd except for that one recurring event. Not sure if that is the glitch but looks like it on my end.
