AFAIR Android is open source OS and you can find many working ROMs of 1.6 for HTC Dream/Magic fro free. Some of these ROMs come from HTC itself !!!
What they want is payment for Rogers branded OS.
Sorry guys, I'm not ready to pay for that.
Actually HTC may remove restriction from ROMs created for other carriers (T-Mobile for example) and allow download them for free. I don't care about T-Mobile logo during device boot.
If Rogers does it can pay for it
