I got a "Client/Server conversion error," and no sync. The problem only effected my calendar -- mail and contacts were synced just fine. After reading a few forums, I did a "Remove account," re-installed the account. It worked fine again. No big deal.
Then it happened again today. I did the Remove/re-install thing again, and again it was cured. Until six hours later.
Is anyone else having this problem with their calendar/exchange sync? Any solution guesses?
Help! Without being able to sync my phone to Outlook, the Desire I love so much is somewhere between frustrating and infuriating.
Thanks in advance,

I have the same Problem, I try several things, thanks till know its fix.
I delete Exchange Active Sync on my HTC and re install, still not sync
I went in HTC Desire Settings/Application/Manage Application/All/ Calendar/Clear data/ Force stop not sync, I went to all the places on the phone to delete the calendar information, but without success, and still have information in my HTC calendar.
I Clean my calendar in Outlook and still not Sync. (Copy all the information first and paste them in Excel.)
I Re install office on my computer, still not sync
I Re install windows still not sync.
My last option was, go in my HTC/Calendar, Month view and delete 1 by1 all the information in the calendar from this month till when I see nothing more including all recurrence (I reach till 2013) Than I went in the past starting from December 2010 in the calendar and delete every single appointment and I realize that I have old notes till 2002 in my calendar and some of the recurrence till that year. From there I went till 1997 just to double check if I don’t have something hided. So far I have a week without problem and it was time to do a cleanup in my calendar.
Hope this can help you guys, let me know.
Regards
Frank Geerman
