oh I know. The point is that the user was already on 1.6 and oblivious to our plight with 1.5.
I'm on 1.6 and for now I'm happy. Much nicer than 1.5 and for the time being will run everything I see on the market including root only apps. I did try a Sense UI ROM for a week. Very very pretty but indeed only 1.5. However that 1.5 version was better than the bland and semi broken 1.5 from Rogers. I'm surprised that Rogers didn't go with that one, way more wow factor and no performance issues.
