Apple offers a seamless, idiot proof product. Getting angry about it won't make Android products better.
(BTW, the only apple product I own is a 3 year old iPod touch. I am just able to admit the truth.)
Before anyone bashes my comment, show me PROOF of a competitive product that offers both a more seamless interface and hardware that is better designed than 'x' iProduct.

You are right, Apple excels at making "idiot proof" products, but that does not necessarily make them better at a particular application, just easier to use.
Case in point, (and I will be flamed by the fanboys if they see this) CG. The myth that all Hollywood CG is done on Macs is just that, a myth. Some of the initial design work is done on Macs because that is the system of choice for the artsy types, but the actual CG work is done on PC's running a UNIX variant.
I have a friend (yes, it happens) in Austin who is a hardcore, rabid fanboy. He was arguing with me saying all CG is done on Macs, period and continued his denial even after showing him the Netter Digital website where it described the 18 daisy-chained PC's used to design and render all of the CG work for Babylon 5 to which he responded that the sight was wrong!
I will also admit that since going Intel, they are competitive with PC's now in all arenas, but they are hopelessly overpriced and closed up. I wouldn't touch a computer that I could not go out and buy a component upgrade and install myself.
