ok, folks - I'm using regular D2, not Global, fm Verizon. Their 'house brand' black rubber gel case, not a hard case; which snaps on & has a pebbled finish DOES accomodate my Moto B7 extended battery, with only a minor, very slight uneven-ess, or not having the edges meet in the middle - but it protects my D2 w/the ext battery & ext battery door in place.
Using it for months w/no probs - not even w/the volume buttons on the side.
