I read an article on MSN today that suggests that the iPad2 isn't such a huge improvement over the original iPad, but, it does have some useful parts. Probably some cameras, obviously a dual core proc, thinner, better battery life, etc. Basically a nominal upgrade as I've said before. But, here's the interesting part, they are suggesting that the iPad2 line as a whole could see a hundred dollar decrease in price across the board. That would be.....bad for Xoom sales. And I'm being kind. The article was very forthcoming about the fact that he was basically pulling this out of his nether regions and had no proof of that announcement, but, given that it's not a HUGE update over the original iPad line, it does seem plausible. Then again, Apple has never been known to compete well on price.
Should be interesting to see what happens.
