I caved in and bought a XOOM. I went for the 3G/4G model, but have not bought a data plan for it (as I can tether from my phone). The option for 4G is there, should I want it later though.

So far I am enjoying it. Although no flash, there is the Youtube app which works for what I need it for. As for apps, I am not concerned. There are only a handful of 'tablet optimized' apps, but the rest of the Android Market is still there and all of them work. The biggest drawback was price for me. I dropped a lot of cash for something to surf the internet, watch Youtube, and play games with. I will be getting more use out of it though, as I am dumping my laptop in favor of this. I will use an older desktop for my primary PC, should I need anything.
