Plan is to go completely stock, and see if my issues still exist. if not, then stick with my hardware.

Issues I'm seeing (which others have reported as well):

touchscreen freeze on wake (sleep and rewake resolves it, but of course you miss calls)
camera button not working on occasion (reboot resolves that, or using a home shortcut)

The touchscreen freeze (and sometimes sporadic use) is the biggest issue.. I've had FAR too many missed calls, and general phone use is a pita when you have to slep and wake it several times to get it working properly.

I 've never themed, or used alt roms either.. the most advanced thing I've done was z4 rooted, and used ad blocker. I'm using Launcher pro plus, beautiful widgets, folder organiser, and desktop vizualizer.. other than those, its pretty much standard apps like ebook readers, games n such.

The maderstcok zip is different than the sbf ....in essence they do the same thing ....you just apply it a different way .....sbf is applied by hooking your x up to your computer via usb and using your computer to run the sbf file to your x .....maderstcok zip is done through bootstrap in clockwork recovery without the need for a computer ....there is no need to rename the maderstcok zip just download and install.....the maderstcok zip is more or less used for users who are not bricked and can still access their devices but want to upgrade or go back to stock and / or start over clean .....you can also use the sbf in the same manner but is generally used by people who are bricked and can't gain access to their device
