You have the option of opening LPi instead of the gallery when you go to choose your icon from DV, LP or whatever. Then when you choose an icon, it downloads and applies in one step.

In the version after that, I'm considering offering the ability to make shortcuts right from LPi, eliminating the need for Desktop Visualizer. Would that be a useful addition?
