Well, I know the frustration.

Anyone that's read my posts know that I'm in the same boat with the pitiful reception with Verizon in my area. What's worse is that Verizon's online maps show our area to be fantastic! They even sent a tech out to confirm.

I'm trying to get an "extender" to see if i can at least get service for the few hours that I'm home in the evenings, otherwise, it works fine at my job about 40 minutes away in Houston.

I get no web service in the house, so I use wifi. As for the phone, I get zero bars. We went to a local restaurant near my home (about 2 miles away) where I was getting 4 bars for phone reception, but as for web service -- my wife's ATT Iphone (1st generation) smoked my ass with a side by side race to pull up androidforums.com It took about 2 minutes for me, 26 seconds for her.

That was the lonnnnnnnnnngest 2 minutes....

To clarify, I love the Droid, just not having luck with the reception. If the extender doesn't work, I may have to wait till ATT offers their Android phones. Either that, or just friggin relocate!
