I believe that LG Eve Owners should send emails explaining and complaining about their situation. They should refer to the HTC Magic software upgrade to 2.1 and also to the HTC dream hardware upgrade offer.
They should also do some calling. Typically phone calls are very interactive. Even if one talks to the wrong person, they will eventually get transfered to the right one. If you call ask for PR department or customer relations dep.

I have already sent them an initial IWMOPS email. I posted about it (and their response) a few days back, so maybe page 25 or 26 of this thread? Suffice to say it was the usual PR mess.
