First off there are two kinds of memory in your phone, internal and external. The SD card you replaced was external memory... the error message most likely indicated a shortage of internal memory.

To resolve you can try booting into your phones recovery menu, if it supports this, and clear cache on the phone. Another thing that might help is to uninstall any apps that you don't regularly use.

As for the task manager message, it sounds like you've got a misbehaving app... Maybe a factory reset would be worth considering to eliminate this problem and help clean up internal memory. Downside is that a factory reset will wipe your phone clean...
