Perceivable differences are just that, perception. Take a non rooted Hero and tell someone that if they root it, it will be faster. Take the phone away for a day and give it back to them after a reboot and still not rooted but tell them you rooted it. Placebo effect will show up atleast %50 of the time here and they will tell you its faster.
