Default Iconia Tab A500 Bricked?

Hi,

Over the last few weeks my tablet has been randomly rebooting itself. Thinking this issue was related to charging it with the device still turned on I decided to turn it off and charge it. However, when I turned it back on it hung at the “Android” splash screen.

To try and fix the problem I restored the device using the Chinese repair ROM - copied the file “update.zip” to the root of an SD card. Powered up holding down the left volume control. This worked so I decided to try installing the English ROM in the same manner which also work. However, after installation I did a factory reset. Now the device is stuck at the ACER splash screen and powering up and holding the left volume control now doesn’t do anything.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Cheers
