I'm being serious, not a smart A. I'm truly interested in seeing examples rather than, iDont comments.

I'll start. Things I like on the droid: I love having the widgets running, while always on gtalk. I love the browser and being able to save images with a simple long press. I like the integrated google voice. For me, that's about it so far. Simply because every other app I use is available on a lot of phones, like facebook etc.

I already stated my iPhone reasons. The mainstream apps just are not there on the Android platform yet with a few exceptions. I can live without constantly being logged in to gtalk, and the browser is equally as good (and also can save images). iPhone also has the bar scanning price apps now as well, which I do use a lot on my Droid.

I realize many of you may NEED multi tasking. I really don't need that.

This isn't really an apple v.s Android OS thing for me, it's more about the application development. I won't question the android OS has a way higher ceiling... the question is, will the quality apps come out.

I wont use a Chase Bank app made by a 3rd party. Or an eTrade app for that matter. I want it made and endorsed by the bank and the trading company. I do not trust unauthorized financial applications nor should anyone.

I am a long time Android user. I had the G1 with Tmobile the first day it came out. The apps have not followed. That is my issue. People can tell me "they will", or "give it time"... but Android OS has been out for what, three years now? Yes Android has a lot of apps but let's be frank, most of them are 3rd party horrible applications.

I think many people think Android is brand spanking new, and that simply is not the case.

I agree with everyone's comments on ATT network, but the question is if it came to Verizon.

Where is an official ESPN app for android? Yahoo IM? AOL IM? They aren't there. FaceBook is a much lesser quality. I haven't been able to update a FB pic in weeks without getting 3 errors first before it finally goes through.

I am sure I'll get more "I hate the iDont", etc... but I would really love to see more solid reasons.

That being said, I respect everyone's reply and look forward to them.
