I was really excited when I got my 10.1 and how easy it was to root it. There's a handful of ROMs out there on XDA and Monster has done a fantastic write up on the basics. I was just curious why it hasn't caught on over here?
Over clocking looks to be a bit tough with the OTA update being used on the latest ROMs, but there's lots that can be done without the customizing. I like to be able to tether with my Droid, use AdFree, SetCPU (for underclocking when asleep) and Root Explorer. I guess once I rooted my Droid over a year ago I became addicted and it was great to get the Galaxy Tab rooted so easily.
Anyone else out there rooting or looking to? I'd love to get the sub-forum running.
