apple knows that they have a particular large loyal market.... who will buy what ever Steve says or puts out.
this market is willing to pay higher prices for hardware and service.. even when there are issues (ie.. antenagate and att service)
so.. carriers would take a lower margin of return to keep that market on their side. that is how apple controls the carriers.. why the carriers put up with apple demands.
all fine, but still doesnt answer why apple would want to limit the use of their device, as the answer to why having the iPhone would force sprint to stop unlimited service..
