Because this is the link of the OTA update. Someone found it in the phone logs after updating.
Countries/ carriers don't mather since the device is carrier free (yes even if you bought it with Tmo).
No worries I live in Belgium (where the phone isn't even available) and it hasn't exploded after the update (yet
