Thanks one and all for the support and encouragement...I did the root and rom last night, and I appreciate all of the added features.
I have two questions to pose.
1) Does anyone besides me experience very slow browsing? I am getting 3G coverage but browsing is painfully slow, so slow in fact the the screen times out repeatedly while waiting for a page. I get the same results on the stock browser, Dolphin, and XScope lite.
2) Is it necessary to keep update.zip, sholesmod-2.0.2.rom and smupdater-4 on the SD card or can I delete them to recover the space?
