I've found that you can cut down about a second of lag time between taking pics by quickly tapping the green shutter button on the right side immediately after taking a pic. (edit: I just experimented with this again and it's actually more like 2 or 3 seconds!)

The only other lag I experience on the Eris is when switching between portrait and landscape modes. The screen will darken momentarily and then the switch will occur. Any ideas how to improve that?

With that said, if I decide to stick with the Eris, and not go over to the N1, I'm going to get one of these class 6 cards. Nice research people! I might get one anyway if I can determine for certain that it will also work in the N1.
