I first installed 2.0.2 with this app, then out of curiosity plus seeing the "big dogs" brag it up, I went to "Beast" 0.7.4 . The only thing I can see that I like more about Beast is the darker Smoked Glass. Sholes did seem smoother on the animations..maybe that is just me. I also see more people switching to Sholes now..
My Maps right now is fine..not broken. I just don't want to end up with the broken maps alongside the working one. I'm not good enough at all this yet to trust going into ADB and deleting the bad one  |
Update.. I flashed to 2.0.3 .. broke maps. So I used a terminal emulator and used the instructions over at AllDroid to remove Maps altogether. I then went to Market and reinstalled Google maps. First time if force closed, so I uninstalled it through market.
I gave it another shot, installing from market, and all is good! Maps runs perfectly now, along with radar in Weatherbug, etc
So now I am rocking a fully functional 2.0.3
