Bugless Beauty is not over clocked out of the box. I think you have to do a custom recovery using nandroid. I haven't done this because it seems too complicated for my comfort level but I believe you download a specific kernal for what clock speed you want (say 1ghz) which are posted over in Taz's section on alldroid. From there you do a nandroid recovery of just boot and not anything else. Then set CPU will give you the more options.
I didn't wanna deal with any of that noise so I just installed Bugless Beast and am cruising at 950mhz no questions asked
. I'd suggest just getting the beast.
