Let's keep our eyes on Korea. The SGS2 LTE HD comes the closest to the maybe specs of the Nexus Prime, with some exceptions. It would be very easy to put it in a Verizon case. Does anyone know when it is supposed to come out in Korea?

Samsung Announces SGS2 HD LTE, Preview Of The Nexus Prime?

Samsung is adding two new phones to their Galaxy S II lineup, the Galaxy S2 LTE and the Galaxy S2 HD LTE. Both of these phones look to be packing some serious power with 1.5 GHz dual-core processors and 1 GB of RAM. But before you get your hopes up, you should know these phones are headed only to Korea (so far).

The Samsung Galaxy II LTE is very similar to what we have already seen stateside in Sprint’s Epic Touch 4g with the exception of its 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and LTE capability. Its looks very, very nice. But what has us really excited is its big brother: The Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE. Check out its specs below:

4.65 inch Super AMOLED Plus display at 1280×720 (720p) resolution
1.5 GHz dual-core processor
1 GB of RAM
1850 mAh battery
Android 2.3.5
Other than the version of Android, these specs are almost identical to what we were hearing regarding the Nexus Prime (or Nexus Galaxy, or whatever they end up calling it). With the announcement of this phone, especially with the announcement of the Nexus Prime due to be coming in the next few weeks, we can definitely see the specs of the Nexus Prime matching those of the Galaxy S2 HD LTE. And that my friends should get your hopes up!
