I didn't want their upgrade either. I decided it was time to root my phone. Good thing about this whole ordeal is Rogers took the risk of us bricking our phones! I figure if the root would have gone wrong and bricked I could have claimed their patch did it

Thats what I'm running and I haven't looked back since. I blocked the HTC number so I quit getting phone calls from them and its been perfect.
