I'm on a Magic, not a Dream...but I am running a Mac FWIW.
The problem may be that the DREAIMG.nbh is not on the root of your microSD card. I'm not sure you can get it there by just copying over. Also, other instructions have said that nothing else can be on the microSD - just the new file. I bought a clean microSD card, used the USB adapter that came with it to load the file directly onto it, powered down my phone, swapped cards and then followed the various instructions on which buttons to press.
Many more experienced people than me on this site...but if that helps...
