Since Flash doesn't have anything to do with the release of 2.1 I'm guessing it will be at least a couple of weeks before its released after the 2.1 OTA for the droid. That being said... any rooted users who want to update to 2.1 will certainly have many cooked 2.1 ROMs to choose from created by the many talented developers who make rooting worth while.

So the same day unrooted (and possibly unrootable due to the exploit being closed in the 2.1 OTA) Droid users are watching their browsers slow to a crawl due to flash many rooted and overclocked droid owners will be enjoying access to 'the real internet'

/end elitist rooted user rant.

But seriously why not just root now while you know you can. Wait as long as you can after the OTA for a dev to release a 2.1 ROM, and if it doesn't arrive soon enough unroot and click 'check for updates' and boom you got your 2.1
