OK, I got it. You DL'd the top link, not the link that is made just for the HP TP, which is toward the bottom of the post and is designed to be copied, not flashed.
UR both rite.
Apparently you missed this part,
"Make sure you scroll down and grab the WXGA touchpad file or you'll get a blank screen."
... but it did work.
